Females are known for their vivid metallic blue coloring, while males often display a more brownish-green tone across the thorax.Encased in clear resin, this specimen allows for close viewing from every angle while keeping the bee protected and easy to display. A unique piece for collectors, nature lovers, classrooms, oddity displays, or anyone drawn to unusual insects and natural specimens.Lucite block measures approx. 2 3/4 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches high.
