They will guard their eggs by wrapping their bodies around their clutches until they hatch.In ancient Chinese medicine, it was believed to have healing properties. Putting a Chinese red head centipede on a rash is said to speed up the healing process. It is believed that a roasted and dried centipede can be pulverized and used for treating back pain.This real centipede in resin is a welcome addition to any insect collection.
